Reflection #1

My past experiences with technology in the classroom as a student and as an observer are intermediate. As a student in public high school most of my teachers used basic technology platforms such as google slides, PowerPoints, and occasionally iPads. With my transition into college, I was able to observe the use of smart boards and clickers when evaluating students knowledge. I have noticed that technology is used more in mathematical and scientific courses to better visualize the content being taught. Being a sophomore, I have not had much experience working in other classrooms, but I know from experience from my past teachers that they can use technology as a communication resource through email, grading, and reaching out to parents. Although my experience with technology is not very vast, I know that there are many outlets and helpful tools that can be explored to expand my knowledge of the benefits technology in a classroom can provide.
